The Blog of the Jerusalem Open House

Hello World!

Hello everyone, Kati and Blake writing to introduce ourselves – we are the new summer interns at the Jerusalem Open House!  We will coordinate the English-speaking group, run this blog and perform menial labor as good interns should.  Kati is a rising sophomore at Yale, rock climber, and lover of art (especially pastels). She hails from Walled Lake, MI, a small little town outside the more infamous Detroit.  Blake is a science nerd from Portland, OR that loves teaching Sex Ed to wide-eyed middle schoolers in her free time.  She will be a junior at Yale in the fall.  This is both of our first time ba’artez and we are very excited to get to know the queer community of the Open House! We will be working at JOH until the end of July.

Make sure to check the English-speaking group’s facebook page , as well as this blog for updates on programming and happenings around Jerusalem.  We will also send out information via our English group mailing list, so if you would like to be added (or have moved and would like to unsubscribe), please email us at .  Any other questions/comments can also be directed to this address.
